The History of the Foundation
This page will go from the beginning of creation to the founding of the Foundation to right now.
The Foundation believes that a malevolent being will enter our world soon when a specific SCP dies. They think when that being comes into the world, all Creation will die.
The Ruler of All
Back at Creation
Khahrakh, later named the Scarlet King is a ancient and demonic god who is eons old and the son of the third brood, he is the main antagonist of the Foundation. He is also tied to the end of existence itself.
The Scarlet King was born along with the planting of the Tree of Knowledge, he was called Khahrahk at the time. He was the youngest child but the only child aware, because he was aware, it brought him great pain. He deemed existence is painful and he wants no part in it. He started to act, he started by consuming his siblings whose essence made him stronger. He vowed to destroy the Tree, the Creator and Creation. He either consumed or subjugated all the other gods, then named himself "King of the Darkness Below". He took Sanaa, one of the gods he subjugated, by force and made her his wife, making her give birth to seven daughters. Sanaa died after giving birth, so the king took his seven daughters as his new brides, from his bride-daughters he had seven children called Leviathans.
Other gods and also older beings accepted into following him also, some of them are Jeser, Goran, Moloch, and Hastur.

The First Sighting
The first entity that started the entire Foundation is over 1000 feet with usually 4 luminous wing like appendages growing out from its shoulders, back, temples, ankles, and wrists. The weapon the entity wields is a sword, claimed to be as hot as the sun that can burn anything it hits out of existence, but strangely it causes no damage to the environment around it.
The being that was described is a Euclid/Keter class named "The Gate Guardian", it is a humanoid entity that is one of the many possible entries for SCP 001. It is the overall protagonist of the SCP series. It stands guard around the intersection of the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. It is from this sighting that the founder of the SCP Foundation Aaron Siegal made the Foundation. He also heard one word in his head when he saw the guardian, he heard "prepare". The guardian has never left its position.
The Gate Guardian stands, sword drawn and head bowed in front of an equally humongous gate which through it looks like a pastoral grove which multiple entities that match SCP 001s description. The Foundation believes that the grove is the biblical Garden of Eden. The grove has multiple trees with fruits of unknown species and two trees of immense size near the center. One of them is believed to be the Tree of Knowledge, it appears to look like a regular apple tree. The other is thought to be the Tree of Life, it grows a fruit unknown to Earth.
The guardian will annihilate any and all beings, organic or artificial, that go within a 1 km radius of itself and ignore its warnings. Its attacks are so fast that it looks like it doesn't even move. The Gate Guardian is one of, if not the MOST powerful being the Foundation has ever seen. It delivers telepathic messages to anyone who gets close such as "FORGET" or "LEAVE". If the message is followed, the being will be able to leave, also the being will forget the guardians existence at once.
The Foundation tried an experiment with the guardian which resulted in the deaths of 35,000 innocent people, and then another resulted in a hurt SCP and multiple personnel being permanently blinded, now no more experiments involving the guardian are allowed by the orders of the O5-Council.
Now the guardian stands guarding the gate to this very day, who knows when it might move again.
How the Foundation Advanced
The history of the Foundation is long and complicated, it advanced in the most complicated ways, from world wars to earthquakes to lots of other problems.
They went from the founding to the capture of SCP 173, to the capture of many other SCPs and the death of Dr. Keter which the infamous Keter class was made in his honor. As technology grew the Foundation grew as well. Soon enough they had 5000 SCPs.
The Foundation continues to grow to this day.
